Hoxe inauguran a súa edición europea, cun enfoque claramente continental. Na conversa inaugural entre os dous directivos de Politico dinse unhas cantas verdades sobre como se fai xornalismo desde Bruxelas:

HARRIS: There are a lot of journalists already in Brussels. There is a lot of journalism already about Brussels. What makes you think people are eager for more of either?

KAMINSKI: An easy one, John. People are not getting enough of either. I thought I had a decent sense of that before I moved back to Brussels in January. It has been confirmed by countless conversations here since then. There isn’t enough journalism about this town that’s accessible and fun to anyone who lives in or cares about Europe. At the same time there isn’t enough journalism that’s credible and essential to anyone who’s an insider in Europe. And certainly there isn’t almost any journalism about “Brussels” (I use the scare quotes to denote that this town isn’t just a physical location) that hasn’t passed through a fairly thick national or ideological prism. For the readers we are after, the women and men who have a big say or a big stake in what happens in this time zone, we aim to be authoritative and a guilty pleasure. Too much of the traditional reporting on the EU looks and tastes like oatmeal. We’re here to put on a fun party for the people who live and breathe pan-European politics.

Politico é un medio dixital estadounidense que se convertiu nunha das referencias na información especializada…

Ler a historiaNace Politico Europa

[21

post-27293","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-medios","excerpt","zoom","full-without-featured","even","excerpt-0
["GET
